Created, researched and tested by Contours Manager Christine and Gino the labrador, this unique walking route explores the world-famous Lake District scenery with less of the upheaval involved with a standard point-to-point tour. The first two walking days of your holiday take the form of circular loops from Keswick, with day one traversing the fells of Latrigg and Lonscale, and day two meandering along the shores of Derwentwater.

From there, your third walking day is a linear jaunt past Castlerigg Stone Circle to Rosthwaite, where you will set up base for the latter half of your tour. Two more circular loops from Rosthwaite form the final two walking days of your Lake District adventure, exploring the spectacular viewpoints of Cat Bells and High Spy, as well as the atmospheric Honister Slate Mines, to name just a few.

This twin-centre tour was created with value and simplicity in mind; by having just two overnight locations, you save on the hassle of repacking your luggage each night, as well as avoiding any transfers to and from the trail.
